FORESTS:NATURE AT YOUR SERVICE.

Hello, welcome to Nature's Forest Services. I will be guide for this short tour and would like to thank you for choosing to visit us. As you our beloved guest may already know, the forest family has been in the business of making life possible since time immemorial. Ours is a proud company that has seen the world evolve over through various geological times and have witnessed the changing faces of lovely planet earth.Heritage is a word we take literally, being the common characters in ancient folk tales; from the Biblical Garden Of Eden, the Legends Of Robin Hood and The Forbidden Forest Of Elves in Medieval Times.

So what exactly do we do here at Forest, you ask? The question should be, what exactly don't we do? Forest is the world's leading goods and services provider, being second only to God. Air, soil nutrients, water, fuel, shelter, biodiversity stores, aesthetic value, climate modification: these are just but a few to name. My challenge to you would be name a product, and I'll  prove to you the hand we've played in it. I can comfortably brag of being the world's oldest, most essential and efficient multinational..

Let's start off at our climate branch. We have billions of trees contributing to rainfall formation via transpiration . Without rain, no food for 32 billion hungry mouths. Our carbon-dioxide usage lowers atmospheric levels of the gas and greatly prevents the greenhouse effect .Moving on to the energy sector we've had firewood since homo erectus.Thousands of homes still depend on the heat and warmth it provides. Our death and decay has guaranteed fossil fuel formation. Talk about death in line of service.

In the biological sector, we are the largest gene stores from which scientists are still rediscovering new knowledge. From our branches to roots, we have housed all manner of animals and plants and given them shelter from the cruel elements of this world. The pharmaceutical industry outsources our raw materials like the cinchona tree in piriton, a sacrifice we make to ensure the good health of our masters. Not to forget the magnificent plants and flowers we avail for aesthetic value. Our leaves die and decay to enrich the soil with nutrients for plant growth. The firm roots we anchor ourselves with anchor the soil and prevent soil erosion.

Our uses outweigh our disadvantages. Yet sadly  forests are in danger. Everyone needs a master, but we all hate dictators. That is the predicament forests face, that humans and animals whom we've loyally served are turning against us. At first we forgave them for their ignorance, but know in The Information Age we know everyone knows better. The danger on their side is more real than ours. The huge populations that cleared us for land know need us for rain, soil e.t.c The effects of climate change are so terrible even in the poles where we never existed. What to do, what to do?

Plant a tree, return us back to earth. Save the few left from the saws. We would love to be around for 1000 more millenia to serve you, it's our duty. It always has been. Please return the favour. Thank you.
